Dean’s Speech

I am honored to welcome you to the website of the Faculty of Science, Minia University.
The Faculty of Science is at the forefront of the faculties of infrastructure that is why the decision to establish the Faculty of Science issued by Republican Decree No. 185 of 1973.
Since its establishment, the faculty has witnessed important developments in its scientific departments and academic programs.
The faculty aims to prepare specialized human cadres in various fields of basic sciences and provide them with knowledge and basic skills that are qualified to compete in the labor market and raise the level of scientific research that meets the needs of society and contributes to environmental development. The faculty seeks to consolidate values and principles that are commensurate with the nature of our society and to develop the capabilities of its graduates to be able to realize different cultures and encourage innovation and creativity within the framework of social,
educational, research and professional ethics. As well as the faculty includes a distinguished elite of faculty members in various disciplines of science who are characterized by competence and experience locally and internationally.
The faculty is also proud of obtaining a certificate of quality and accreditation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance of Education.
